RIM v.s. Tablet Market

It seems as though Apples IPad dominated the tablet market in 2010 with a whopping 4.3 million units sold. It seems that when the Blackberry Playbook, RIM's answer to the Ppad, reaches stores this upcoming year, they will face stiff competition. Hopefully RIM isn't over there heads with this.

Top 5 Seller?

Blackberry Bold 9780
This article on yahoo finance mentions the top 5 mobile phone makers in the world, and oddly enough RIM's Blackberry is no longer in the top 5. I'm curious to see why they dropped so far and how their gonna fix their image.

RIM Given 4 Star Buying Rating

I stumbled across this little article on the Google finance website. Pretty much what the article outlines is that the RIM stock is doing relatively well, and suggests that it would be ideal to by. Although its reached and 52wk low of $42.53 and a 52 wk high of  $76.95 it has been showing support around $59. 92. It'll be interesting to see what the company does next to further increase its market value.

RIM talks with India

I thought this article particularly interesting, simply because of the market size of India and RIM trying to further globalize. It seems that if RIM is able to resolve the issues over data with the Indian government then it will only assert themselves more as a communications power.
